Higglie is a company for pet owners founded by pet owners. The app is designed to help pet owners get access to a network of professionals and to help providers and professionals connect and maintain a relationship with pet owners.
During the mood board process, boards were created for the user personas - one being the initial user persona, Jordyn.
The mood board was in intended to merge Scandinavian influence derived in the naming process together with Jordyn’s hypothetical instagram page.
Why the name? The name Higglie stems from the Scandinavian word Hyggilg. Depending on where you are from, it can mean safe, content, intimate and cozy or a greeting to convey friendliness. In Tagalog, it means a feeling of openness, warmth, and friendship as felt between two people who know each other very well. The co-founders Katie and Jen wanted their brand to convey the values of the company ( trust & community). I felt this name was well suited.
